Adult Volunteer Opportunities

Complete a 5-week training program to become one of our 24-Hour Hotline Dispatcher Volunteers. Korean & English fluency is required. With back up support from counseling staff, volunteers answer KAFSC’s 24-Hour Bilingual Hotline during evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

We are always looking for pro bono lawyers willing to provide free, monthly consultations to our clients.

Volunteers assist Teachers with children ages 5 to 13 in the Hodori After School Program and Summer School Program.

Join our Outreach Volunteer Program and make an impact after completing our 4-hour training. Choose from flexible opportunities including event support (setup, registration, coordination) and community outreach activities, with events occasionally held during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Multilingual speakers (Korean, Chinese, Spanish) are encouraged to apply.

In partnership with NYC Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes and Asian American Federation (AAF)’s Hope Against Hate Campaign, KAFSC works to address anti-Asian violence and discrimination through community outreach, education, safety resources, and support directly to our AAPI community.
More than 2,627 anti-Asian hate incidents have been reported in New York City, with many targeting our grandmothers and grandfathers. Join our Community Patrol Team to help keep our neighbors safe as they go about their daily routines, commute to work, and return home.PATH Patrol dates are announced as they are confirmed. Youth Volunteer Opportunities

The Youth Community Project Team (YCPT) is a youth-led leadership and advocacy program for dedicated high school students in grades 9–12 who are committed to advancing the mission of KAFSC.
Through education on domestic, sexual, and gender-based violence, participants build leadership, teamwork, and public speaking skills while designing and leading community awareness projects.
Students also organize KAFSC's annual Rally Against Sexual Assault (RASA) and earn a KAFSC Certificate of Leadership & Advocacy upon successful completion of the program.
